Of course you can IMAGINE (HA!) why I am calling this blog post imagine.
Well I walked into central park and the first thing I heard was a talented, attractive man bunned individual singing imagine by John Legend and I saw the "famous" symbol with the word imagine.
Im not going to lie, at first I hated New York. It is hectic, over-crowded, and down right disgusting when it comes to all of the trash in the streets.
However, to my surprise I fell in love. I couldn't tell you the exact moment or even something specific that made me fall in love only a feeling.
It was watching a million taxi's roll by, it was the amount of people, it was the amazing architecture, the subway entrance on every corner, and the fact that this city (THE BIG APPLE) could bring so many emotions.
That you could go from thinking the city was absolutely breathtaking, to feeling completely petrified because your lost, to emotionally vulnerable because you just visited the 9/11 memorial.
I felt so incredibly small and irrelevant. That no matter what I did would not have mattered because people moved so fast and they never stopped.
But what I found is more beautiful than the fact that New York could make me feel all of these things.
It was the possibility of dreams. That maybe one day we can change the pace and make those people pause even if its only for a second.
and thats when I imagined that maybe we can catch their attention to change this world for the better.
Anyway, I hope you are all imagining your dream and as always I wish you the best.
Also here are some photographs taken by your truly for your viewing pleasure.
